Martine Flamen

Martine Flamen started dancing as a child and eventually became a jazz dancer and dance instructor.   She was recognized several times as the top jazz choreographer in Belgium for kids and varsity competition.  Martine also started teaching fitness and was an AVIA master trainer for aerobics and step aerobics.  She was also a Reebok master trainer and developed her own dance course - “Total Thrill” - for the Reebok University in Belgium.   Martine then became a trainer for Speedo Aquatic Fitness at the start of the Speedo Aquatic program and was trained by Mary Sanders.  As an international presenter, she has taught at several sports universities (Taiwan, Austria, Hungary, Estonia) and at several aerobics and aqua Conventions ( France, Italy, Portugal, Tunesia, USA).Martine is the founder of [Aqua & Move](http://www.aquaandmove.be/), a Belgium aqua fitness organization.   In September 2015, she founded a large swim academy for kids ( 6 months – 6 years old) and a swim academy for adults ( learn to swim, start to swim, stroke,...). Her swim academy now has 600 members. She is also the owner of a dance school, [HAL26](http://www.hal26.be/), in Gent, Belgium which includes several departments, including children & teens, ballroom, Latin, Salsa, seniors, fusion for adults, fitdance and dance for handicap children.
